Former EMT turned code nerd. Honing my problem-solving skills while coding apps the solve real life problems. I have a passion for planning, organization, learning, and refactoring until the best solution is reached.

Prior to attending the Nashville Software School I'd done some WordPress web design, as well as some ad designs for a non-profit and a couple of restaurants in New Haven, CT and NYC. I knew that I enjoyed delivering a finished product to the client as much as I loved tinkering on my computer. However, I found my lack of coding skills limiting, which lead me to look into local programs after arriving in Nashville. I chose NSS because of it's Non-profit status, well outlined six-month program, and their commitment to making every student a developer via group projects an agile practices.

I am now pursuing a software development career, bringing to the table problem-solving, attention to detail, and high level written and verbal communication from my medical, food service management, and office administrative background.

BLS jUMP-KIT

| A Front End Capstone Project |
A Jump Kit is the bag an EMT carries off
of the ambulance; it contains lifesaving gear.
This app is intended to be a software accompaniment to that kit.
Built using AngularJS, Jquery, Bootstrap, Sass, & Grunt, with
Firebase database and deployment, the app is a
first draft of a greater vision to improve
patient care and emergency call efficiency.

dough-e

|A Back-End Capstone Project|
Built as a full stack Ruby on Rails app. Dough-e is a
wholesale bakery management system, currently focused
on convenient online ordering and production numbers.
Utilizes paperclip gem, cancan gem, bootstrap styling,and a
basic example website to demonstrate company integration.

Technologies
